In light of what I’ve written above, I completely agree and think that this is an important point in its own right, apart from any discussion of the Romney campaign itself.

Romney Bird Moment reveals the field of the political contest, the
stakes between Romney and Obama, and for that matter, what is at stake
in broader struggles such as the ones that OWS engages. I think thatthis post is a nice companion to Blow’s op.ed. in the Times
