Daniyal Khan


DANIYAL KHAN is a graduating senior at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Pakistan, majoring in Economics/Mathematics and Social Sciences. His undergraduate thesis (“Heilbroner and Weber: Economics as a Science, Economics as a Vocation”) analyzed Robert Heilbroner’s philosophy of economics through the lens of Max Weber’s work and Weber scholarship. Currently a research associate at the Department of Economics at LUMS, he has also contributed articles to Pakistani newspapers.

His academic interests include history of economic thought, philosophy of economics, ethics and economics, religion and secularism in the modern world, and global politics of the environment. He hopes to attend graduate school and pursue a career in academia.
