Lukasz Pawlowski


LUKASZ PAWLOWSKI received M.A. Degrees from the Department of Psychology University of Warsaw in 2009 and in 2010 from the Institute of Sociology University of Warsaw, where he is currently a Ph.D. candidate. Łukasz’s dissertation research focuses on English pluralism and its potential relevance to contemporary debates in political – and especially democratic – theory.

Apart from academic work, he pursues his career as a political journalist. From 2009 until 2010 he worked at then second-largest Polish broadsheet journal, Dziennik, and he is now a managing editor at Kultura Liberalna.

Łukasz is an author of numerous articles and interviews primarily on political theory as well as on British and American politics. He has translated into Polish two books on political theory: From Enlightenment to Revolution by Eric Voegelin (2010) and a selection of David Hume’s Essays (2013).
